What’s Happening at FPGMC
Church Charge Conference: Tuesday, October 22nd. Potluck at 5:30pm. Potluck sign-up sheet is in the Gathering Area. Meeting at 7:00pm. All members of FPGMC are encouraged to attend this important annual all church conference as we discuss life in the church in the past year as well as discussing plans for the next year.
Ladies Bible Study: Thursday, October 24th @ 10:00am in the library.

Things to Know
6th Annual Talent Show: The Adult & Family Committee is excited to host this popular annual event on Saturday, November 9th @ 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall. The talent search is on!! However no talent is 
need, but we ask that your performance be limited to about 5 minutes. We’ll also be serving a dinner with our annual favorite Turkey & Pumpkin Chili and Chicken Rice Soup that will warm you up on a November night. 
We are asking for dessert donations, a fall type dessert maybe with pumpkin. If you plan on performing or coming for a good time, please sign up on the poster in the Gathering Area. So come on out and join your church family for a good laugh and unique entertainment. It will be fun!!

Children’s Ministry: Fountain Park Global Methodist Church provides a Christian Education program for children 5 years old and younger to help them begin to learn about faith in Jesus Christ. This program is held every 3rd Sunday. We invite parents to join us for our 9:00am worship and children will take part in this Christian education program involving Bible stories, learning songs, participating in art projects, and enjoying a treat. Hospitality Table: Join your fellow church friends and visitors for coffee, juice & snacks for a little social time every Sunday before and after the worship service in the Narthex. All are welcome!!
Soda Pop Sunday: How can the price of a can of soda help save the life of a rescued infant in Kenya? By supporting Dave & Jennifer Bell’s rescue mission in Kenya. The last Sunday of every month will be designated as “Soda Pop Sunday”. Funds collected will buy needed items such as medicine, diapers, and food. What a wonderful way to care for “the least of these” until they are adopted by a Christian family.
